2D/3D Imagery - Video Games

Become a pro in video game design and production!

Course Objectives

This program aims to form students to:

understand the constraints inherent to the creation of a video game;
complete preliminary documentary research and perform feasibility studies;
design visual components according to specific objectives;
master the art of game engine integration;
create, select and organize technical, visual and sound components according to targeted objectives;
design and operate interactive tools according to specific platforms;
understand and apply a production budget, a methodology, a schedule and a control;
know, understand and analyze the products and the various sectors of the video game industry;

Recommended Student Profile

This program was developed specially for those who meet the following criteria:


possess artistic talent;

possess communication skills;
possess a passion for new technologies.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for admission into a program leading to an Attestation of College Studies, you must have an education considered sufficient by the College and you must satisfy at least one of the following criteria:

having interrupted studies for at least two consecutive semesters or one full school year;
benefit from a government program or an agreement between the College and your employer;
having completed at least one year of postsecondary studies over a one-year period or longer.

Career Possibilities

Graduates will have the necessary competences to be hired by a company specializing in the creation, management and production of high-tech multimedia. Graduates will be able to be integrated in teams of video game creation, simulation, cinematics or interactive shows, etc.

Attestation of College Studies.

Program Length

One year (three 15-week semesters) for a total of 915 hours.
